Land Registry compliant plans
Measured on site and drawn to HM Land Registry requirements, so your solicitor's application is not sent back because of the plan.
From £100 + VAT from existing drawings, or from £450 + VAT with a site visit. See survey prices
Plans we prepare
For leases, sales of part and new titles
Lease plans
Flats and commercial units, with each floor shown and the demise clearly edged.
Transfer of part
Selling part of a garden, plot or building, with the land being transferred clearly identified.
New titles
Plots on small developments and other registrations that need a measured plan.
Why plans get rejected
What makes a plan compliant
A plan that cannot be matched to the Ordnance Survey map, or that is not properly scaled, can delay registration.
- Drawn to a stated metric scale with a scale bar
- North point and enough surrounding detail to locate the land on OS mapping
- The land clearly edged, usually in red, with no ambiguity at the boundaries
- Each floor identified on lease plans for flats and upper-floor units
- Measured on site, not traced from an old deed plan
